ISLAMABAD
The Sub-National Immunization Days (SNID) polio campaign was inaugurated on Saturday at Golra Station, with health teams set to administer polio drops to 447,614 children across Islamabad.
District Health Officer Islamabad Dr Syeda Rashida Batool accompanied the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad at the inauguration ceremony.
The campaign aims to protect children under five years of age against poliovirus through door-to-door vaccination and ensure that no child is missed.
Parents have been urged to cooperate with vaccination teams and ensure that every child under five receives polio drops during the campaign to help protect them against the crippling disease.
