PESHAWAR
The trials match of the short-listed probable selected by Chief Selector Inzamam Ul Haq got under way with Hazara stunned Peshawar by eight wickets in Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Peshawar skipper won the toss and elected to bat first setting up 181 runs in the allotted 40 overs match. Asad Afridi (28), Saqib Khan (24), Muhammad Zulfiqar (21) were the leading run contributors. For Hazara Muhammad Idrees claimed three wickets, while Moin Khan and Azat Ullah got one wicket each.
In reply, Hazara chased the target for the loss of two wickets in 34.4 overs with Adnan Akbar hammered a cracking 71 runs, Muhammad Suleman made 48 runs. For Peshawar Saqib Khan took two wickets.
