ISLAMABAD: Government has adopted a policy of misguiding masses to divert their attention from its own failures and other important matters haunting the exploited majority, a business leader said Thursday. The government is manipulating and distracting the nation by issuing baseless statements and giving fictitious figures regarding different issues, said Shahid Rasheed Butt. Inflation, unemployment, and lawlessness continue to threaten masses and the economy, poverty is rising steadily but what masses are getting is a constant and endless flow of irrelevant information, he added. Shahid Rasheed Butt who has also served as president ICCI said that the government has failed to abide by its manifesto, honour promises or provide any relief to the masses, therefore, it has started cheating people.
