The semi-finals line up was completed when Farooq Club Azakhail village, District Nowshera recorded victory against strong rival Sohrab Club Charsadda in the last quarter-final and moved to the semi-finals of the ongoing Ramadan Floodlight Volleyball Inter-Club Championship being played at Taru Jabba Village on Thursday.
Now Maaz Club Urmar village will face Pashtoon Garri club in the first semi-final and Muneeb Club Aman Kot, District Nowshera will clash against Aamir Club Chargharmatti, Peshawar in the second semi-final.
There were hundreds of spectators witnessed the thrilling quarter-final played between Farooq Club Azakhail Village, Nowhsera and Sohrab Club Charsadda wherein the teams stretched to five sets.
Surprisingly Sohrab Club Charsadda secured victories in the first two sets Farooq club Azakhail beat Sohrab club by 23-25 and 27-29. It was a thrilling battle which largely enjoyed by the sitting spectators with their cheering hands.
