US concerned over violence in occupied Kashmir

Washington : The United States has expressed concern over the violence in Indian held Kashmir where Indian troops killed about seventy Kashmiris during the past thirty one days.Online reports.
During a press briefing in Washington, State Department spokesperson, Elizabeth Trudeau has urged Pakistan and India to resolve the issues through dialogue.
She said we believe that regional safety and security is not only the responsibility of the two countries to speak directly to each other but also to have that support within the broader international community.
Elizabeth Trudeau said the United States condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks in Quetta, including the murder of Bilal Anwar Kasi, President of the Balochistan Bar Association.
She briefed US have also offered assistance to the Government of Pakistan on investigating the terrorist attack in Quetta.
She said we stand with Pakistan as they move forward on this fight against terror.
State Department Spokesperson expressed we will continue to work with our partners in Pakistan and across the region to combat this threat.
