Two labourers have died while four rescued out of around 25 trapped under rubble after an under-construction plaza collapsed on Bosan Road near Chungi Number Six.
Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif has ordered to ramp up rescue efforts however, reportedly, heavy machines that were called for workers’ aid reached with delay for reasons yet to be disclosed.Under-construction building came crashing down on Tuesday on Bosan Road trapping at least 25 labourers.
Rescue operation is underway after teams arrived on the scene.
Reportedly, rescue teams are reluctant to give out details over deaths and injuries at the time. Sources privy to Multan Police and rescue officials have reported that heavy machines have been called on the site to clear the rubble.
