Around 128,000 challaned for traffic rules violation in Peshawar


Traffic police issued challans to more than 128,000 people last month for violating traffic rules, said details share by the traffic police.
According to details, in the last one month, 128,842 persons have been challaned by the officials of City Traffic Police Peshawar for violating traffic rules in different sectors of the city.
Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat, education teams of citizens educated about traffic rules in different sectors of the city after which action is taken against those who do not follow regular traffic rules.
Expressing satisfaction over the operations, Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat said that traffic police in Peshawar would use all its capabilities to ensure implementation of traffic rules.
He said that the traffic authorities should ensure compliance with the traffic rules and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard while legal action would be taken against the culprits.
