Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi holds condolence reference for senior member Sultan Khalil

Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi organized a condolence reference in memory of its senior member, Sultan Khalil, at the ground floor (lobby area).
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. A large number of people from literary, social, and cultural circles, along with the family members of Sultan Khalil, attended the condolence meeting. On this occasion, President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmed Shah said that Sultan Khalil was a part of the Arts Council family, “We are all members of this family.”
He said that Sultan Khalil was a prominent individual who had rendered numerous services. He added that Sultan carried out significant work and, for many years, managed the book fair of the World Urdu Conference excellently.
He also initiated a street library through the Commissioner Karachi, which was a remarkable achievement. Asjad Bukhari said that Sultan Khalil was a hopeful and positive-minded person.
Ali Hassan Sajid said that he always saw Sultan Khalil spreading love and helping others, describing him as a true lover of books. He added that he had never seen such a high-spirited person in his life. Ayub Sheikh said that people like Sultan Khalil are no longer among us; his services to the Arts Council and the city were immense, and we have lost a kind, friendly, and loving individual.
Kashif Garami said that he shared a relationship of affection with Sultan Khalil and that his association with the Arts Council spanned two generations, calling him an example in today’s era.
Iqbal Latif said that Sultan Khalil was a “king of sincerity and love,” and that his loss is deeply felt and he will not be forgotten. Syeda Maryam Sultan said that her father was an excellent personality who always listened to and guided them, adding that they can never forget him.
Rizwan Siddiqui said that Sultan Khalil would stand out even in a gathering of thousands. He added that it is a tradition of Ahmed Shah to remember everyone who has served the Arts Council. Khurshid Shah said that Sultan Khalil was a devotee of the Prophet (PBUH) and stood by him in every difficult time.
Mazhar said that he never saw him angry, upset, or scolding anyone, and described him as a man of excellent character. Owais Jameel Ansari said that it would be difficult to find such love and affection again as those shared by Sultan Khalil.
Ali Hassan said that his sudden passing is a tragedy. Shahid Mohiuddin said that he was a symbol of sincerity and that no matter how much is said about him, it would not be enough.
Tabeer Aaghai said that Sultan Khalil was someone who spread happiness and that she had a good relationship with him. At the end of the condolence reference, Shakeel Khan led a Fateha for Sultan Khalil, while Nauman Khan performed the duties of moderator.
