The Core Committee of Businessmen Panel Pakistan has approved the reorganization of the central cabinet. Under the new organizational structure, former FPCCI President Sultan Chawla has been appointed Patron-in-Chief, former FPCCI President Mian Anjum Nisar as Chairman, former Governor Haji Ghulam Ali as Central Secretary General, while Khawaja Shahzaib Akram and Nasir Hayat Maggo have been elected as Senior Vice Chairmen.
Participants of the Core Committee meeting, along with all BMP office bearers and the business community, appreciated the role of the federal government and Pakistan’s armed forces in the current national and international situation and paid rich tribute in strong words.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to utilize all their capabilities for resolving the issues faced by the country and especially the business community.
In this regard, an important meeting of Businessmen Panel Pakistan was held yesterday at the office of Senior Vice Chairman Khawaja Shahzaib Akram, attended by all core committee members.
During the meeting, approval was granted for the reconstitution of the central cabinet. Former FPCCI President Sultan Chawla was appointed Patron-in-Chief; former FPCCI President Mian Anjum Nisar as Chairman; former FPCCI President and former Governor Haji Ghulam Ali as Central Secretary General; Khawaja Shahzaib Akram and Nasir Hayat Maggo as Senior Vice Chairmen; Shakil Usman and Sheikh Muhammad Ali as Vice Presidents; Sohail as Chairman Punjab; Mirza Abdul Rehman for the Federal Area; and Muhammad Ali Mian as Secretary Information.
The meeting also approved the organizational structure for all four provinces, including Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan. It was further decided that provincial cabinets for South Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan would be formed through consultation.
The meeting was attended by FPCCI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Vice President Aun Ali Syed, along with a large number of core committee members and prominent industrialists from across the country.
In this extraordinary meeting, the business community from across Pakistan paid glowing tribute to the Government of Pakistan and the Chief of Army Staff for their historic diplomacy and valuable mediatory role in the tense situation involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Speakers stated that Pakistan’s efforts in reducing global tensions and promoting peace have elevated the country’s stature worldwide.
Former FPCCI President, former Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and current Central Secretary General of Businessmen Panel Pakistan, Haji Ghulam Ali, said that Pakistan has accomplished a remarkable task, enhancing its dignity and global recognition.
He added that the Government of Pakistan and the armed forces have once again proven their commitment to peace and progress.
He further stated that Businessmen Panel Pakistan stands firmly alongside the government and armed forces in these peace efforts.
At the end of the meeting, bouquets were presented to the newly elected central cabinet members by BMP members and the business community, with a renewed commitment to collectively address the challenges faced by the business community across the country.
