The Government of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reconstituted the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commission on the Status of Women, consisting of following with immediate effect.
Ms. Neelum Toru, Ex-chairperson Provincial Commission on the Status of Women Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be Chairperson and Ms. Nasim Hayat, Member provincial Assembly, Ms. Uzma Khan, Member provincial Assembly, Secretary to Government of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zakat Ushr, Social Welfare, Special Education and Women Empowerment Department, Dr. Saba Gul Khattak, Ex-Member, Social Sector Planning Commission, Islamabad, Dr. Roobina Naz, Advocate PHC/Human and Women Right Activist, Dr. Anoosh Khan, Chairman Department of Gender Studies, University of Peshawar, Asif Nisar Ghayasi, journalist, Shamama-tul-Amber Arbab, Director, Euro Industries (Pvt) Ltd, Peshawar, Nargis Samin, Ex-MPA, Shagufta Malik Ex-MPA, Sameena Imtiaz, Executive Director, Peace Education and Development (PEAD) Foundation, Mr. Asadullah Khan, Lawyer, Social Worker and Human Rights Activist, Ms. Seema Riaz, Member Provincial Zakat Committee KP and Ms. Rubina Massey, Executive Director, Integrated Community Development Initiative (ICDI) will be members.
