LAHORE, MARCH 09 (ONLINE): 54 deaths occurred in the last 24 hours due to novel coronavirus steering nationwide tally of fatalities to 13,281 on Tuesday.
As per the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 1,353 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours raising the overall positive cases to 593453.
Till now 259,956 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 178,648 in Punjab, 74,167 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 19,121 in Balochistan, 45,976 in Islamabad, 10,626 in Azad Kashmir and 4,959 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore, 5,600 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 4,436 in Sindh, 2,118 in KP, 201 in Balochistan, 511 in Islamabad, 313 in Azad Kashmir and 102 in GB.
Pakistan has so far conducted 9,278,613 coronavirus tests and 31,786 in the last 24 hours. 563,823 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 1,644 patients are in critical condition.
