Peshawar Zalmi head coach Daren Sammy – who is staying to ‘see Pakistan as a tourist and not a cricketer’ – played street tape ball cricket in Lahore with young cricketers.
The Saint Lucia-born West Indian cricketer tweeted, “Played some street tape ball cricket earlier in Lahore. Where’s next?”
Team owner Javed Afridi thanked Sammy and said Pakistan is indebted for his contribution.
Peshawar Zalmi shared the video of Daren Sammy playing cricket in Lahore on Twitter.
It is pertinent here to mention that Daren Sammy stayed in Pakistan after the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was postponed due to covid-19. He is exploring the country as a tourist.
