DC Mardan visits Dar-ul-Aman on Eid-ul-Adha

On the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Deputy Commissioner Mardan, Dr. Azmatullah Wazir, visited Dar-ul-Aman (Women’s Shelter Home) in Mardan. During the visit, he met with the resident women and children, inquired about their well-being, listened to their concerns, and presented them with gifts and sweets to share in the Eid celebrations.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Eid Nawaz Sherani, Additional Deputy Commissioner Relief and Human Rights Iqbal Hussain Khattak, and officers from the Social Welfare Department also accompanied him.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected various sections of Dar-ul-Aman and reviewed the arrangements including cleanliness, accommodation, security, education and training, and medical facilities. He issued necessary instructions to the concerned authorities to improve these services.
Dr. Azmatullah Wazir stated that the welfare of the vulnerable and underprivileged segments of society is the top priority of the district administration, and sharing happiness with them during festivals like Eid is a social and moral responsibility.
