PESHAWAR, January13: Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has asked the youth to join hands them in waging the ‘Jihad’ for promotion of democratic culture and moral values so that will help them to gain good substance in this world and immortal life.
Condemning the announcement of the opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) president Maulana Fazlur Rehman regarding marching toward Rawalpindi – military headquarter, Faiq Shah said that instead of holding march against mischievous, foe and immorality, it is astonishing that march being arranging against the country’s integrity.
Faiq Shah was talking to youth leaders and members of the legal fraternity at his office here on Wednesday. The party central secretary general, Sohail Ahmad Khan Malik, secretary information Muhammad Awais Khan, Arsalan Shah, Ishtiaq Elahi, Mansoor Chouhan, and others were present on the occasion.
He termed the vigorous efforts for promotion of democratic culture and moral values as a one of the greater ‘Jihad’ (holy war) under the current circumstances, asking the youth force to join them in this Jihad and gain well in this world and immortal life.
The ATP chairman said that politics, democracy have been victimized by inheritance, ego and family. Everyone waits for their own turn, when they come into power, have been slaved of family, self-image and personal character, he added.
When the rulers saw weakening their position, they always used assault on the national institutions to save their own skin and safe protection from previous misdeeds and deceiving the masses, what he said the increasing tug of war is damaging the state-institutions.
Recalling about initiation of an organized struggle and movement to get rid the country from opportunists forever, Faiq Shah vowed that the people will be liberated from people indulged in tug of war and would establish real democracy in the country.
Whether the government or opposition, he asked them to hold ‘self-assessment’ first then pointing fingers on others after that they can easily judge that who is much sincere with this nation, he opined.
Expressing concern over increasing prices of electricity, petrol and essential food commodities, Faiq Shah reiterated his resolve that they will not rest until free the nation from present opportunists’ rulers, as well as injustice and poverty, asking to abstain from wasted politics.
