Frontier Corps (FC) South on Saturday handed-over financial assistance to the family of seven years old female children who got injured in fatal electric shock incident at Baloch village near Tank. Commanding Officer 25 Sindh Regiment visited the home of victim and expressed condolence with family.
Innocent 7-year-old girl Masoma was collecting rainwater on the roof of her house in Gara Baloch area near Tank when she faced unfortunate incident and electro cut from a high voltage power line passing over the house. Later, she was rushed to DHQ Hospital for immediate medical treatment. The condition of the girl was said to be out of danger but some parts of her body were burnt.
Sector Commander FC South had immediately took notice of the incident. Speaking on the occasion Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Sher Alam also expressed deep sorrow over the incident. He also inspected the site of high voltage power line passing through the residential area.
He assured the family that in order to avoid such incidents in future, WAPDA officials would be directed to remove the wires from the roofs of the houses. Mushtaq, the girl’s father, thanked Sector Commander South and Commanding Officer 25 Sindh Regiment for visiting their home and providing financial assistance.
