ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday signed memorandum of understanding (MoUs) with two non-governmental organizations According to details, an agreement was signed between DG FIA Wajid Zia and Chairman Akhuwat Foundation Amjad Saqib. Under the agreement, the Akhuwat Foundation will provide facilities to deportees from abroad. Deportees will be provided with interest free loans, skills and development facilities. In addition to the psychological and economic rehabilitation of the deportees, they will also be provided with the facility of Fountain House. The Akhuwat Foundation will address the issues of deportees by contacting them. The Akhuwat Foundation will also train FIA employees under the agreement. Initially, this project will be launched at the airports of Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar. The second agreement was signed between DG FIA Wajid Zia and Shahid Lone, Executive Director of Allahwala Trust. Under the agreement, the Allahwala Trust will provide edibles free of cost at the airport to the deportees. Online
