Govt priorities prosperity of Balochistan’s people: Asad

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that development and prosperity of the people of Balochistan is an important component of the government’s priorities.
Talking to Deputy Speaker Balochistan Assembly Sardar Babar Khan Musakhel, who called on him on Wednesday, Asad Qaiser said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision is to alleviate the sense of deprivation of the people of the province.
He said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a game changer for the entire country especially for Balochistan which would usher in progress and prosperity of the province and its people. He said that Gwadar port will become the hub of development.
“Infrastructure development in Balochistan and extending educational and health facilities to all the areas of the province is a top priority of the PTI government,” said Asad Qaiser. He further said that sustainable development of Balochistan is imperative for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
The NA speaker, who is also chairman of the Special Committee on Balochistan, said that the present government has always accorded immense importance to the maintenance of law and order and development in Balochistan. He said Balochistan is sanctified with natural resources which have not been properly tapped and utilised for the betterment of the people of the province.
Speaking on the occasion, the deputy speaker Balochistan Assembly said that speedy completion of ongoing projects under CPEC in Balochistan is a guarantee of development and prosperity of the province.
