Humayun slams PTI govt for rising inflation

The provincial president of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Humayun Khan has expressed concern over the record rate of inflation in the country and slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) provincial government for failing to get their due rights and net hydel profit from the center.
Addressing a press conference at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) here on Wednesday the provincial president also announced the provincial cabinet for the party.
Provincial information secretary Amjad Khan, deputy information secretary Saleem Chitrali and other party leaders were also present on the occasion.
Provincial President Humayun Khan said that the train accident was very heartbreaking news which left everyone sad, adding the PTI government has turned deaf ears on the accident but people demanding accountability.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari had earlier said that NAB and economy could not go hand in hand he added. He alleged that the government had unleashed a maelstrom of inflation and to add insult to injury there seemed to be no intent to decrease inflation and ease the burden on the working class.
Humayun Khan said that when PPP was in power in the country it had tried its level best to give due share of the province, adding that with its coalition partner in KP government the issue of provincial rights was adequately taken up.
Provincial Information Secretary of PPP said on this occasion that new responsibilities have been given to the party; he added that newly nominated office-bearers in the party would fulfill its responsibilities as per the party constitution.
