Inspector General of Islamabad Police Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan on Monday visited police line headquarters and laid floral wreath t at National Police Martys’ Monument there.
On his arrival at Police Line Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Islamabad police presented him guard of honor. DIG (Security) Waqar Ahmed Chohan, DIG (Headquarters) Nasir Mehmood Satti, DIG (Operations) Faisal Ali Raja and other senior police officials were also present on the occasion.
The IGP also offered Fateha for the martyrs of Islamabad police and also wrote his views in visitors’ books placed there. He also visited the offices of Special Branch and Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) where he met with officials and jawans of the force.
He was also briefed about the working of Special Branch and ITP office. The IGP also planted a sapling during his visit to Special Branch. AIG (Special Branch) Mujahid Akbar, SP (Special Branch) Zubair Ahmed Sheikh and other police officials were also present on the occasion.
