IHC removes allegations, directs to fix petition for hearing

Islamabad High Court (IHC) while removing the allegations on petition regarding the privatization of three important airports of the Pakistan directed to fix the petition for hearing on Monday.
Shahid Orakzai resident of Islamabad approached IHC against the privatization of three important airports of the Pakistan included Jinnah International Airport Karachi, Allama Iqbal International airport and the new Islamabad International airport.
Petitioner while challenging the process of out sourcing of management of three said airports took stance in his plea that these three important airports control the 80 percent air traffic of the country.
He said that the government did not take approval from the federal cabinet for privatization and questioned can the control of state- run- airports handover to any private contractor?
It is vital to mention here that registrar office leveled allegation on the petition stating that this is not concerned forum for this petition however Justice Athar Minallah of IHC removed the allegation and directed to fix the petition for hearing.
