Corona vaccination of citizens continues in KP
PESHAWAR
An increase in the number of corona cases witnessed in all Peshawar hospitals and currently 319 patients are under treatment, an official of the health department said here Sunday.
He said 107 patients infected with coronavirus under treatment at Lady Reading Hospital and 29 patients are undergoing treatment at Lady Reading Hospital on 38 ventilators, the health official said.
He said 70 corona virus patients are undergoing treatment at Khyber Teaching Hospital and out of 25 ventilators allotted in Khyber Teaching Hospital, 13 patients are undergoing treatment.
He disclosed that 82 patients are undergoing treatment at Hayatabad Medical Complex including 21 patients are undergoing treatment on 38 ventilators in the hospital and 60 patients are undergoing treatment at Corona Nishtarabad Hospital. Six patients are being treated at Corona Nishtarabad Hospital on 18 ventilators overall.
Meanwhile, a total of 134423 citizens have been vaccinated so far in all categories across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a health official said here Sunday.
Giving details, he said, 725,561 people have been given the first dose of Sinopharm and 335,367 people were also given second dose of Sinopharm with 23, 77, 481 people have been given the first dose of and 4,17,201 people were given second dose of Sinovac.
He informed that 228,051 people have also been vaccinated against cansino and the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine was given to 154,259 people in Peshawar and 25,933 people were given second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine.
He said 51,1193 citizens were given the first dose of PakVac and the first dose of Pfizer vaccine was given to 3,862 people and 1667 people were given second dose of Pfizer vaccine while 1, 830, 54 people were given the first dose of moderna vaccine and 40 people were given second dose of moderna vaccine.
