Islamabad bound flight makes emergency landing in Baku


BAKU: A captain of British Airways’ Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner, flying from London to Islamabad, decided to land at Baku`s Heydar Aliyev International Airport on Friday due to dense fog at the Islamabad International Airport. According to Azerbaijan news agency, the plane landed safely at around 9:11 a.m. local time. Due to the duration of the flight and according to the airline`s rules, the flight crew must rest before leaving Baku. The passengers of the flight were taken to the airport`s transit zone.
