ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice (CJ) Islamabad High Court (IHC) Sarfraz Dogar has remarked it is beyond comprehension why do the sessions judges block the National Identity Card (NIC). Case against blocking the NIC of the citizen came up for hearing in IHC Wednesday. CJ IHC expressed wonder over blocking NICs of the citizens by sessions and additional sessions judges. While moving to the Assistant Attorney General (AAG), the CJ IHC Sarfraz Dogar said during the hearing of the case, how these sessions judges and additional sessions judges block the NICs of the citizens. I am surprised how the sessions judges make such a big decision. It is incomprehensible why the sessions judges block NICs. CJ IHC directed AAG should assist the court on this matter. The court while seeking assistance from AAG adjourned the hearing of the case. Online
