ISLAMABAD: It is the responsibility of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to keep the city clean, people should also cooperate in this regard, said the Chairman CDA, Aamir Ali Ahmad here on Tuesday. He expressed this while addressing the media persons while inspecting the cleanliness situation in Islamabad.
He said that CDA is committed for providing the best cleanliness facilities across the capital. The role of citizens is very important in this regard. They should not throw waste in markets and in front of their homes. Islamabad is one of the beautiful cities of the world. CDA will take all the essential steps to enhance the beauty of the city, he further said.
Chairman CDA lauded the performance of officers and workers and urged them to carry on the hard work. There will be no compromise on keeping the city clean, he added.
