A group of Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International’s (JKSDMI) headed by Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman, JKSMI along with Ms. Amna Ansari, former Member of GB Assembly called on Syed Fakhar Imam, Chairman, Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir on Wednesday in his Chamber at Parliament House, Islamabad.
During the meeting Raja Najabat Hussain informed the Chairman about the activities of their Organization in Pakistan and abroad he also congratulated the Chairman on assuming the Chairmanship of Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir.
While talking to the delegates on the latest development in Indian held Kashmir and the decision of the (BJP) in their manifesto for the coming election regarding scrapping of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution that gave a special status on Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir said that Indian leadership should understand the reality and International obligations in the light of United Nations Security Council’s resolutions on Kashmir being a disputed territory.
He further said that in this modern globalized world one cannot hide the truth by using sheer force and negative propaganda. Now the world has fully understood the negative tactics of Indian Government to prolong the Kashmir dispute in order to change its demography.
Moreover, the Indian propaganda to paint the Kashmiris struggling for their right of self–determination as terrorists has also come to an end.
The world’s electronic and social media are rightly showing the images of brutalities and atrocities being committed by the Indian armed forces against the innocent Kashmiris particularly the youth who are carrying out their indigenous struggle without any fear of death. The Kashmiri’s and in particular the youth are facing the Indian armed forces with courage and tenacity.
He further, said that the BJP leaders are playing with fire which can destroy the peace of Indian held Kashmir and can also disrupt the peace of the region, if appropriate steps are not taken seriously to avoid creating a war like atmosphere continuously.
