KP cannot tolerate further lockdowns: Zahir

Zahir Shah Khan, President Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Provincial General Secretary of Central Organization of Traders, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, requested the Prime Minister of Pakistan, members of the Committee National Command and Operations Center and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The business community has already suffered a lot due to the previous lockdowns and so far has barely managed its businesses as well as the country’s economy. If more lockdowns are carried out, the business will end.
This will be a huge loss for the country’s economy and stability as business and daily life has been affected more than ever before and the re-lockdown from May 08, 2021 will affect the daily life and economic conditions.
There is a risk of further deterioration due to which there is a risk of increase in street crime as Mardan and other areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cannot tolerate further lockdown. Therefore, our government is demanding from time to time.
