KP Govt to facilitate new company in registration for NEZs: Abdul Karim

PESHAWAR, Jan 27 (APP): Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Industry Abdul Karim Khan has said that the provincial government was taking measures to facilitate the company registration for the new economic zone (NEZs) and launched one-window operation for economic and industrial development in the province.

He was talking to a delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa led by its Coordinator Sartaj Ahmad Khan who called on him here

Abdul Karim Khan asked the Director Industry to issue the registration certificate of the new company in time and extend all possible assistance in this regard.

The meeting reviewed economic and industrial development measures of the province. Welcoming the approval of new economic zones in Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu, FPCCI Coordinator Sartaj Ahmad Khan said that it would change the fortunes of the southern districts. He demanded early inauguration of special economic zones in Chitral and Ghazi.

On the occasion the CM’s aide agreed to solve the problems of Minerals, Mines, Gems and Jewelery industry through one-window operation.

He vowed to solve the problems of FPCCI and business community and said that the new economic zone would create new employment opportunities and help reduce unemployment in the province.

He said that the industry department and FPCCI would work together to make the province economically self-sufficient, adding that FPCCI was playing the role of a bridge between the provincial government and the business community and was committed to continue more concerted efforts for industrial development.
