PESHAWAR: Secretary Transport and Mass Transit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Fakhar Alam Wednesday mobilized Provincial transport authority to visit bus terminals and ensure that nobody is charged above the prescribed fares during Eid ul Fitr. In a letter written to all relevant departments the Secretary directed that over loading should strictly be checked besides taking action against artificially created shortage of transport by transporters to overcharge from passengers. He also directed to setup complaint cell at general bus terminals to address the complaints on the spot and take action in case of any emergency. He also requested police to cooperate with the transport department at bus terminal and take prompt action in case of any disorder. our correspondent
