PESHAWAR: A delegation of Coal Mine Owners from district Kurram Wednesday called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Mineral Dr Amjad Ali and expressed concern over closure of mine industry from last five months in the district. The delegation led by MPA Zahoor Shakir also apprised the minister about the problems being confronted by the people attached with the industry. The Minister directed the officials concerned to redress the concerns and reservations of min owners on war footing. Dr Amjad Ali said the government was taking measures to provide maximum facilities to mine owners and during a short period as many as 800 lease were auctioned and soon 1400 more would be auctioned that would help generate revenue for the province. He assured the delegation every possible assistance and resolution to their problems. our correspondent
