Maryam has filed no application for removal of her name from ECL: Sheikh Rashid

RAWALPINDI : Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said Maryam Nawaz has not filed application in connection with removal of her name from ECL.

:Nawaz Sharif vein is shrinking. He should come to country and tell what is happening. PDM is mixed pickle. Those talking of no trust move are not wise. Daughter of Afghan ambassador is part of media war against Pakistan”, he said this while talking to media men in Holy Family hospital Rawalpindi Thursday.

He pointed out that corona cases are on rise in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. NCOC has provided 20 ventilators and we need 15 more ventilators. Two days holiday on Friday and Sunday is improper. I have talked to Asad Umar in this regard.

He remarked Afghan ambassador daughter was not abducted but they are alleging Pakistan. Afghan ambassador daughter is part of media war against Pakistan. She has given interviews in three languages. If this situation is allowed to continue then we have all footages. We have informed Afghan investigation team about the matter related to daughter of Afghan ambassador.

He went on to say that India and Afghan agency NDM have unleashed media war against us. We are desirous of peace and stability in Afghanistan.

He remarked that Maulana Fazlur Rehman said a day before talks should be held on Afghanistan. This is vision of Imran Khan too. I say to PDM we want to play our role on this most important matter in the world.

He observed PDM is mixed pickle. They are holding public meetings since the last year. Only Shahbaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman are in PDM. PDM meeting which was held a day before was self praise meeting. Nothing will happen even if PPP becomes part of PDM. They can move no trust resolution if they will. Nothing will happen.

He underlined elections will be held as per schedule.

He stated Shahbaz Sharif has made no appeal and he wants to play media, media.

He indicated Maryam Nawaz name is on ECL and she has filed no application in this regard.
