Mickey Arthur to be credited for improved discipline of team: Subhan Ahmad


ISLAMABAD :While briefing the Standing Committee of Senate on Inter Provincial Coordination onTuesday, Chief Operating Officer of Pakistan Cricket Board, Subhan Ahmed credited Head Coach Mickey Arthur for discipline shown by the team in the recent past.
Ahmed declared senior national players in the past responsible for unproductive environment of the dressing room. No senior or young player would be allowed to violate the disciplinary rules, the Chief Operating Officer avowed.
While talking about women cricket team, Subhan Ahmad said that steps were needed to be taken at colleges and universities level for promotion of the sport among potential women players.
He laid out aspiration of the board for the women’s team in coming five years by saying that the authorities were making efforts to improve in international ranking to fourth position from the current seventh.
