PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Revenue Haji Qalandar Khan Lodhi Monday directed the chairmen of local Zakat committees to expedite process of zakat disbursement among the deserving people. Addressing a ceremony of distribution of Zakat cheque among chairment of local zakat committees in district Abbottabad, he asked the local Zakat Committees to make the Zakat distribution process transparent and speedy. On the occasion, MNA Ali Khan Jadoon and chairman Zakat Committee Abbottabad Tariq Mahmood and others were also present. The Minister distributed cheque among chairmen of 23 local zakat committees.
