PESHAWAR
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Minister of Agriculture, Major (Retd.) Muhammad Sajjad Barakwal, along with MNA Shahid Khattak, laid the foundation stone for the road from Kazim Kalay to Imarkai Graveyard in District Karak.
A large number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and local dignitaries were present on the occasion.
In his address at the inauguration ceremony, the Minister of Agriculture thanked the Chief Minister, saying that he has prioritized District Karak. He expressed confidence that this era would prove to be one of genuine development for Karak.
He added that the completion of this road project would mark the beginning of a new phase of development in the area, with work also to be carried out on related branch road projects. He expressed his commitment to working together for the success of this major project.
Earlier, while addressing a public gathering in Dubli Lawaghar, the Minister of Agriculture said that areas deprived in the past in terms of resource distribution will now be given priority to address their deprivations, and a joint struggle will be made in this regard.
Sajjad Barakwal also said that, in addition to roads connecting Tehsil Headquarters Takht-e-Nasrati and City Headquarters Karak, immediate work will be initiated on other key projects including Basic Health Units, solarization of tube wells, irrigation channels, agricultural tube wells, and small dams.
He also hinted at the commencement of work soon on the Dubli Lawaghar to Kando Khel road.
At the end of the ceremony, the Minister of Agriculture welcomed new members into PTI by presenting them with party caps.
