Minister visits flood-hit areas in Charsadda

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering, Fazal Shakoor Khan on Wednesday paid an emergency visit to the flood-affected areas of District Charsadda following the recent heavy rains. During the visit, officials from the Revenue Department and the district administration accompanied him.
The Provincial Minister conducted a detailed inspection of the affected areas and reviewed the damages caused by the floods. He also met with the affected families, listened to their concerns, and assured them of the government’s full support and assistance.
On this occasion, the district administration briefed the provincial minister on the ongoing survey being carried out to assess the damages.
The Provincial Minister directed the concerned authorities to ensure that the damage assessment is conducted in a transparent, comprehensive, and timely manner so that relief can be provided to the affected people without delay.
He said that the immediate compensation and rehabilitation of the affected areas is the top priority of the provincial government. He further emphasized that no affected family will be left alone, and any negligence in relief activities will not be tolerated.
