PM is hiding behind technicalities as he is trying to escape from Panama Leaks case,PTI Chairman
ISLAMABAD
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Friday demanded to change prime minster, not National Accountability Bureau (NAB) ordinance. Talking to media outside Supreme Court in Islamabad, Imran Khan said that incumbent government has no evidence to prove the allegations wrong.
He said PM Nawaz is hiding behind technicalities as he is trying to escape from Panama Leaks legal proceedings.
The entire Western world holds their leaders up to these standards of morality where they cannot lie but here, the premier has lied about billions of corruption, he added. He said that PM’s lawyer repeatedly said that they had documentation and money trails but today they failed to provide the evidence.
Why no one is talking about the fact that Maryam Nawaz was a beneficiary owner at the time when the flat was purchased, he asked. Khan said that Maryam Nawaz did not have the financial capability to buy the apartments.
PTI chief continued that: “We brought Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) report, we brought BBC documentary with the same money trail and Ishaq Dar’s affidavit which matched the FIA findings about the Kazi family.”
He said that this is a defining moment for Pakistan and the time that will decide is the law equal for the small thief who steals a cycle and languishes in jail for years, and the powerful who steals billions.
