Pakistan donates medicines, other apparatus for corona treatment

Four containers, loaded with medicines and other necessary apparatus for treating Covid 19 patients have been handed over to Afghan officials by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) here at Torkham border on Friday.
Keeping in view rising in corona cases, the Pakistan government as a good gesture donated the needed medicines and equipment to Afghanistan.
According to the official report, director logistic NDMA Ihsanullah Khan flanked by other officials delivered the four containers, laden with anti-Covid 19 drugs and essential apparatus for curing corana patients to Afghan officials.
The package included medicines, required in treating corona beside ventilators, oxygen cylinders, masks, laboratory tests kits etc.
Ubaidullah,the Afghan Council General who received the donation consignment thanked on behalf of the Afghan government and people of Afghanistan and appreciated the Pak government for its generous act and said, the provided medicines and medical tools will certainly be utilized to treat the corona effected Afghanis.
It is to be stated here that till filing the report a total of 98844 cases have confirmed corona positive in Afghanistan among these 3943 patients have fallen to pray while 62698 patients have recovered.
