Peshawar a center of attraction for tourists: Zahid Chanzeb

Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Tourism, Culture, Archaeology and Museums Zahid Chanzeb has said that the provincial government is reviving the city of flowers, Peshawar, as a center for tourism activities with new spirit. He said that with the increase in tourism activities in the province, more tourists would be attracted to visit the cultural and heritage opulence of the province. Peshawar is known for its ancient history which attracts tourists from all over the world.
He shared these views during a meeting with Farida Tariq Nishtar from Pakistan Bloom and Floral Art Society and Coordinator Fauzia Inayat regarding the arraignment of Pakistan Bloom 2024. Director General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, Tashfeen Haider, Event Manager Hasina Shaukat and other officials were also present.
Advisor for Tourism and Culture, Zahid Chanzeb, further stated that restoring Peshawar’s heritage sites and organizing tourism activities is essential to attract tourists from across the country and the world with insights into the province’s heritage and culture. He commended that organizing Pakistan Bloom 2024 at Peshawar’s historical heritage sites is an appreciable step.
Farida Tariq Nishtar mentioned that this year’s event theme would feature Peshawar’s cultural heritage showcased through floral displays, with plans to hold the event in November.
