PFA takes action against selling of expired products

Rawalpindi: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Tuesday took action against a network involved in selling products after expiry date in new packing. According to detail, PFA conducted a raid at factory located at Murree road and recovered many expiry products like 23328 packets of snacks, cooking oil. Raid has been conducted at Rawalpindi fish market and sealed two points during the inspection. Operation has been conducted under the subversion of PFA DG Capt. Retd Muhammad Usman. Moreover, during the operation heavy fine has also imposed on a several shops at Murree road. The PFA DG said PFA would not spare anyone found guilty of violating PFA rules and regulations. ONLINE
