GOJRA: Police have arrested the prime suspect in the case of a gang-rape of an 18-year-old woman on the M-4 motorway in Gojra while the police raids are underway to arrest the remaining culprits. According to police spokesperson the arrested accused is being investigated and the gang rape case has been registered on the report of the aunt of affected lady in city police station. The aunt of victim woman took the plea in FIR that the girl was called in Gojra on telephone for interview. She said that when they reached there, the suspects put the young woman into a car and took her with them and raped her on the motorway. There were two men and one woman in the car. The accused persons subjected her to gang rape on motorway and threw her at Faisalabad interchange. DSP Waqar Ahmad said that the medical examination of the affected girl has been got conducted and samples were sent to Lahore for DNA.
