Prices of petroleum products likely to hike from March 01

ISLAMABAD, Feb 26 (Online): Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent summary to petroleum division for increasing the prices of petroleum products from March 01.

Sources said the proposed hike in the prices of petroleum products has been determined on the basis of Rs 30 per litter levy. This way it has been proposed to hike the prices of petrol by Rs 20,07 per litter and diesel RS 19.61 per litter. In the perspective of the prevailing levy, the prices of petrol and diesel will rise by Rs 6 per litter.

The finance ministry will decide about any change in the prices of the petroleum products in consultation with the Prime Minister.
