Qaim Ali Shah files petition in SHC seeking pre arrest bail

Karachi: Former Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has filed a petition in the Sindh High Court seeking pre-arrest bail in land allotment case. Former CM Sindh took the plea that he has no objection on NAB’s inquiry but it should be restrained from arresting him. It has been further said in the petition that he is ready to extend cooperation to NAB in inquiry but court should issue orders to NAB not to arrest him. It is vital to mention here that NAB is doing investigation in case pertaining to irregularities in property allotment in development authority Malir. Therefore it had summoned CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah for investigation on November 2 but he refused to appear before it. According to NAB, in the first two reports related to land allotment in Malair Development Authority, name of Qaim Ali Shah was not mentioned while in the third one , his name was found mentioned , therefore, he was called in connection with the interrogation.
