Over 7000 Rescuers to remain on high alert on Eid Days: DG RESCUE 1122

Rawalpindi(Online): Upon directions of the Director General Brig (R) Dr. Arshad Zia Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 marked First Aid Day all over the Punjab.
In this regard awareness walk and seminar has also been arranged at central rescue station Rawal Road Rawalpindi to sensitize general public and volunteers about the importance of first aid in case of emergency.
The District Emergency Officer Dr Abdur Rahman along with Deeba Shahnaz Spokesperson, Ali Hussain Emergency Officer, Hamza Emergency Officer, Anjum Rescue and Safety Officer, Station In charges lead the awareness walk from central rescue station to Murree road in which large number of rescuers, volunteers and general public participated to mark the first aid day.
Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Director General Brig (r) Dr Arshad Zia has said that the Rescue 1122 Emergency Ambulance; Rescue and Fire Services shall remain on duty during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha to provide emergency services to the citizens from all 36 Districts of Punjab.
In this regard, the leave of rescuers have been restricted and over 7000 Emergency Medical Technicians; Fire Rescuers, Computer Telephone Wireless Operators supervised by the Rescue & Safety Officers and District Emergency Officers shall remain available even during the Eid holidays.
The plan to provide emergency medical cover was presented to Director General, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Brig (r) Dr. Arshad Zia during a meeting held at Rescue 1122 Headquarters on Friday.
