Earlier, Tournament Secretary Muhammad Tauseef Siddiqui gave details about the tournament and thanked Wing 999 for sponsoring the tournament and said that InshaAllah all matches of the tournament will be played on the best grounds.
He informed that the winning team will be given 5 lakh while the runner-up team will be given 2.5 lakh rupees. Afterwards, the Chief Guest Jan Sher Ashrafi officially inaugurated the tournament by hitting the ball. In the opening match, Saudi Titans defeated Mesol Solar by 8 wickets.
Mesol Solar, batting first, made 165 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Abdullah Danish 60 6×4, Jawad-ur-Rehman 48 Owais Raheem, Osama Basharat and Haris Khan got 2-2 Wickets each.In reply, Saudi Titans 166/2 in 21.5 overs. Ata Jan 53 x4 6 3×6, Basit Khan scored an unbeaten 44,Hassan Iqbal 41 runs.
On this occasion, Ajmal Naseeb President Zone One, Secretary Arif Waheed, Treasurer M Tariq Hafeez, Secretary of Zone Two Nusratullah, President of Zone Six Zia Ahmed Siddiqui, Treasurer Raees-ud-Din, former Secretary of Zone Two Rehan Siddiqui, former Treasurer Afzal Shairi, former first-class cricketer Zafar Ahmed, Zone Five’s Shahbaz Qureshi, Jibran Khan, Saim Ahmed, Nizamuddin and other dignitaries participated.
