Shafi Jan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, has formally launched a registration campaign for the “Imran Khan Release Peace Movement” on Sunday, marking a new phase in the initiative aimed at mobilizing public support.
Jan inaugurated the campaign by registering himself and later visited a registration camp set up at Nahar Chungy Chowk, where he reviewed ongoing activities. The launch drew a large turnout of party workers, representatives of various organizational wings and local residents, many of whom completed their registration amid visible enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, Jan described the movement as a peaceful and constitutional struggle focused on ensuring justice, rule of law and protection of fundamental rights in the country. He said the growing public participation reflected an “awakened nation” determined to pursue positive change. He added that the registration drive would help further organize and strengthen the movement, enabling it to achieve its objectives more effectively.
Praising the commitment of workers, Jan said the campaign was expanding rapidly and expressed confidence that it would succeed in meeting its goals. He urged supporters to carry the campaign forward in an organized manner and ensure maximum public registration to build momentum for the movement.
