LAHORE : PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif has rejected Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan statement on holding referendum on Kashmir issue.
“PM is deviating from historical and constitutional stance of Pakistan on Kashmir issue by talking about referendum in Azad Kashmir”, he said this in his tweet here Saturday.
He went on to say Kashmir issue will be resolved by giving right of self determination to Kashmiris in accordance with UN resolutions . .
It is united stance of people of Pakistan and Kashmir that imposing any solution on Kashmiris against their will is tantamount to betray Kashmir cause, he remarked.
The entire nation rejects any stance on Kashmir which runs contrary to Pakistan historical stance and UN Security Council resolutions, he added.
