Kamran Nawaz Panjotha, the SSP Shikarpur, during a press conference held at his officer claimed to have foiled a terror bid and arrested three notorious terrorists and sized substance material recovered from their possession.
According to SSP Shikarpur, Shikarpur police with the close collaboration of the team of Regional Police Officer Hyderabad, Sukkur, and federal intelligence agencies raided next to Choie Shaakh next to Sultan-Kot and arrested three terrorists belonging to Daish, a banned outfit, including Khalid Mehmood aka Ameer Hamza Pindrani Brohi, Siddique Brohi and Usman Brohi and recovered two pressure cookers, [IED], two hand grands, and three pistols and other substance material to make the bomb and foiled a terror bid to be carried out in Shikarpur.
Besides, Khalid Mehmood aka Ameer Hamza Pindrani Brohi was wanted to Shikarpur police in murder cases, intend to murder, police encounters, and playing a role to reach substance material to terrorists furthermore, Khalid Mehmood is the younger brother of Hafeez Pandirani Brohi, who has been Naib Ameer of Sindh, and who also killed in an encounter took place with police, SSP further said that Khalid Mehmood aka Ameer Hamza was the facilitator in bomb blast to carried out Imambargahs of Lakhidar and Khanpur and further investigation is into the issue.
However, Khlaid Mehmood Pindrani Brohi was wanted to police in several cases registered against him at the different police stations under section 324, 148, 149 crime No. 21/2010, under section 302, crime No. 26/2008, under section 4/5 EXP Act crime No. 11/2020 and under section 23(1)9 crime No. 12/2020.
