Special Control Room established for monsoon at DC Office

Keeping in view monsoon rains, district administration Peshawar, PDMA, Rescue 1122, Irrigation Department and concerned TMA conducted joint exercises and a control room has also been established in Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office, Peshawar.
In this connection, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Relief, Mohammad Imran Khan, Assistant Commissioner (AC), Dr. Ihtesham-ul-Haq, Hajra Saleem( PDMA), Owais Afridi (Rescue 1122), Sub-Engineer Iftikhar Khan and officers of other concerned departments visited Kabul River on Monday and reviewed the flow of water.
On this occasion, the concerned TMAs and Field Revenue staff was directed for 24-hour monitoring of the flow of water in the river and to inform Control Room in case of any emergency on Phone No.091-9211338.
The officetrs also visited Kabul River through a boat of Rescue 1122 and reviewed the flow of water in different localities. On this occasion, the teams of Rescue 1122 conducted joint exercises to battle any emergency situation.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Khalid Mahmood has said that district administration has completed all necessary arrangements regarding monsoon rains and a control room has also been established in DC Office for the purpose.
