SSP Operation Yasir Afridi appreciated the role of the United Peace Committee for interfaith harmony in the city.
In order to maintain the atmosphere of brotherhood and brotherhood between different religions, all schools of thought will work together to maintain law and order.
He said that United Peace Committee has played a positive role on Muharram, Chehlum Imam Hussain, Rabi-ul-Awal and Eid, which is not to be underestimated.
According to details, SSP Operations Yasir Afridi had a special meeting with a delegation of Muttahida Aman Committee headed by Hussain Ahmed Madani Advocate at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Line Peshawar yesterday.
The delegation led by Advocate Hussain Ahmad Madani included Arif Yusuf, Khurshid Ali Akhonzada, Pandit Hari Lal, Iqbal Bhatti Masih and others.
On the occasion, SSP Operations appreciated the efforts of Muttahida Aman Committee for playing its role for Muharram, Chehlum Imam Hussain, Rabi-ul-Awal, Eid and inter-faith harmony.
He clarified that in order to maintain law and order in the city, all schools of thought and scholars, including the district administration and the government machinery, are in touch.
