PESHAWAR: Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has stated that Pakistan can assist for development, peace and stability, so world must understand its role in resolution of Afghan conflict. He termed the peaceful and stable Afghanistan is essential for bringing development and stability in the whole region. In a statement issued here on Monday, Faiq Shah emphasized that Afghan government, Taliban and Afghans should jointly play role in bringing everlasting normalcy He added Afghan government, Taliban, and Afghan people should change their behaviour while keeping in view the changing scenario. Mr Shah went on to say that the peace building in war-ravaged Afghanistan is the prime responsibility of the US and its allies. He added the US had gained nothing during decades’ long invasion on Afghan’s soil. Pakistan can assist US and its allied nations in war against terrorism in restoration of sustainable peace, development and stability in Afghanistan, says Faiq. He emphasized that the Afghan government, Taliban and Afghan people should devise a joint strategy for better future and development of Afghanistan, asking them to pull out Afghan soil from conspiracies, extremism and intensifying violence. Faiq termed Afghanistan as an important trade and economic route, which is a prime source of development, prosperity and regional connectivity. Pakistan has paid a huge price in Afghan war against terrorism, pushing back the country, people and its society but the world didn’t recognize the unmatched sacrifices. Our Correspondent
