SSP Operation Haroon Rashid has said that business community considered backbone of the country’s economy and police utilizing all available resources to provide a peaceful environment for businessmen.
He said police valued the role and cooperation of trader body in maintaining law and order situation in the provincial capital.
SSP Operation expressed these views during a meeting with business community delegation at Malik Saad Police Line.
SP City Atiq Shah and other police officers were also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, SP Operations appreciated the positive role of the business community, cooperating with the government machinery and police on various religious festivals and celebrations.
Haroon Rashid said that resolving the problems of the business community on priority basis and providing them a conducive environment is among the priorities.
On the occasion, the business leaders also apprised SSP Operations Haroon Rashid of the problems faced by them and pledged to continue full cooperation with the police and other government agencies to maintain law and order in the city.
